All excellent wound care begins with appropriate education and training. Advantage Surgical and Wound Care provides a licensed & certified, clinical wound specialist to educate the staff of your Facility.

The Preliminary educational in-service is aimed to introduce a solid foundation in wound care basics. Ongoing education can then be customized to the level of each individual facility and the needs of its clinical treatment staff or choose from our standard topics.

Advantage Surgical and Wound Care is accredited to award contact hours to Nurses who attend our educational In-services. 1 hour of Continued Nursing Education (CNE) = 1 Contact hour. Since a minimum of a 1-hour CNE In- service must be presented in order to award credit, our most popular in- service topics are formatted in 1-hour increments. Our clinical wound care specialists can also custom design class topics to suit your facilities’ needs.

Our Advantage Surgical and Wound Care clinical specialists work directly with the clinical treatment staff of your facility. The education offered by our clinical specialist is intended to enrich staff knowledge and reduce the risk of state survey infractions.

Advantage Surgical and Wound Care is committed to elevating the quality of wound care at all levels of service. We look forward to providing your treatment staff and facility with clinical education when needed. We are committed to working with you to ensure that the level of knowledge and quality of resident care in your facility continues to grow – and that your residents get the best possible wound care available.
